A rum created to celebrate Alexander Gabriel's 20th anniversary as master blender. It is made from very old rums characteristic of Barbados and continues to be successful even after more than 10 years since its introduction.
Origin: Barbados: West Indies Rum Distillery (molasses, column and pot still distillation).
Tropical maturation: 8-15 years in bourbon casks.
Continental maturation: 2-10 years in a variety of casks, including new white oak casks, bourbon casks and Ferrand cognac casks, charred to varying degrees.
Aroma: a wonderful floral-fruity aroma, enriched with notes of vanilla, cocoa and milk chocolate.
Taste: slightly sweet, with notes of cinnamon, molasses, Christmas spices, rum chocolates and biscuits.
